Buddy Gancenia of Reality Wedding Video bags the Grand Prize in the first-ever Sony Wedding Video Competition at the Wedding and Portrait Photographers of the Philippines (WPPP) Photographer’s Night held at Club Filipino, Greenhills San Juan on October 24, 2007.
Gancenia’s video was chosen as the best among 36 other entries with Bob Nicolas and Mayad Studios grabbing the succeeding runner-up positions.
His video garnered the most number of audience votes. Buddy’s unique reality style stood out among the other five finalists, who all used a music video style.

buddy’s craft is a genuine reflection of a well-polish talent that esteemed from “curiosity to dreaming to initiating to realize a dream to basking what the dream is now”.
the depth was there but it never compromise the simplicity.
the shots depects “grandiose scene” which makes the video “very much royale” but the scoring touch-down on mass appeal. that what makes the video click to all!

In any creative work one of the hardest thing is to come up with a fresh or unique concept on how to convey the emotions and ideas. Hi, I rarely post comment on blogs, forums etc, (heck, i dont even post anything on my site!!!) but seeing your work inspired me enough to shake off my lazyness!!! Brilliant work adre!!! this piece realy shines and gives so much credence to your chosen biz name; I’m in Paris and people round here dont get it when they say we focus a lot on the ‘senti’ values and quickly label our approach to life as sappy (not in the peorative sensethough) . Anyways, this wedding video have trmendously upped the ante way beyond the seemingly homogenized aeshthetic standards wedding videographers all over the world are going after these days… BRAVO!!!
